Rebekah has been working in commercial radio for the past four years and currently works in radio production as well as being a voice over artist. Rebekah has been serving young people at Newday for last 8 years in the Rhythm Factory and 15-18s. Rebekah attends Emmanuel Church New Cross.
Ben Rowe
YC20: Host
Ben has been working with young people for the last decade through local youth works and helping to lead Newday, a Christian youth festival running every year in the summer. The last two years he has been working directly for Newday and now leads the executive team. He is keen to help young people across the nation have the opportunity to meet Jesus and encounter His love through the local church.

YC20 session: au.thor.i.ty // Stopping the drift
Previously the lead pastor of Reality LA in Hollywood, California, Tim moved to London in 2016 to start Reality Church London. Author of two books, Better: How Jesus Satisfies the Search for Meaning and The Truth about Lies, both of which were born out of lessons learned while living and pastoring in Los Angeles. Tim and his wife Lindsey care deeply about the ministry of the local church and have sought to devote themselves to helping churches in their mission to share and reflect the gospel.

Joel is the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel in Brighton and leads the Newday team. Married to Kate they have a heaving brood with five children and love the unpredictability of their day-to-day life. Brighton is their ideal home and they adore its energy and the way it comes alive in summer. YC20 session: Who Next // Building a leadership culture that lasts
Simon and Caroline have been married for twenty years and have three children. Their passion is to see people walk into an encounter with God’s love and be equipped with that message. Caroline leads in the church and through her business to release creativity and to express vision through buildings and homes. Simon leads the eldership team and the Strategic Leadership Team at King’s Arms. He also leads the team that serves the Catalyst family of churches. He regularly travels around the world to teach and input leadership teams at other churches.

Emma is the founder of Orchards, a charity striving to see women free from sexual exploitation. Orchards provide accommodation, counselling and casework in partnership with local churches, for women who have experienced sexual exploitation, as they tackle barriers to sustained exit such as debt, unemployment and mental health issues. 50% of those selling sex in the UK entered before the age of 18. Girls in the care system are particularly at risk and according to Home Office data, 45% have experienced sexual abuse and 85% physical abuse in childhood.

Ben is the founder of Power The Fight, a charity which launched in Jan 2019 to train and empower communities to end youth violence. He is also a pastor with Emmanuel Church London. One of The Evening Standard’s Progress 1000 London’s most influential people for 2018. His first book We Need To Talk About Race – Understanding the Black Experience in White Majority Churches was released in July 2019 through SPCK Publishing.
